Overview

The Cross Armory Safe Mag for AR-10 magazine release and lock system for the AR-10 is the safest, easiest to use release product on the market. When the receivers are separated, using Quick Pins or another method, the Safe Mag releases the magazine. This makes Safe Mag one of the simplest fixed magazine release and lock systems available. Safe Mag .308 is an essential part of Cross Armory's AR conversion kit for regulated states like California.

.308 SIZE
HOW TO CHOOSE BETWEEN AERO & DPMS
Determine the width of the base of your upper receiver:
1. Separate your upper and lower receiver.
2. Use calipers or measuring tape to determine the width of the base of the upper receiver (measure area of base directly above the trigger).
3. If the upper width at the base is 7/8" or 0.875", chosse AERO. If the upper width at the base is 1 1/4" or 1.25", choose DPMS.

Please note: If your .308 has an ambidextrous magazine release, please call or email us before purchasing. Installation may require an additional spacer.
